This anti-venom works best when applied immediately after a snakebite before the venom causes extensive tissue damage. This product must be rubbed into the fang wound for best results and then can be washed away after a few minutes.

Venom-X comes in a small vial less than 2 inches long. It is convenient to be carried at all times when outdoors and when encounter with snakes is a possibility.

Venom-X works well for most snake bites, as documented in our Venom-X field test report. But, for deep fang puncture wounds, it can be difficult to rub the antivenom into the fang wound so that sufficient contact with the venom is achieved. For deep fang wounds from a snakebite, a second product provides an answer to this need.

Venom-X Wash Kit for Snakebites.  It contains the Venom-X antivenom in powder form AND it also contains a Venom-X in liquid form for use in irrigating the fang puncture would.   Irrigation is recommended for DEEP bites (large snakes with long fangs).

StingMed, an anti-venom skin cleanser, is intended to provide rapid relief from burning, to prevent blister formation resulting from fire ant stings and is a broad-spectrum anti-venom skin cleanser for use following bites and stings from mosquitos, wasps, bees and other insects.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Carry this product with you when in places infested with fire ants or other insects. IvyMed:  IvyMed is a skin cleanser. This product is intended to provide instant relief from itching caused from contact with poison oak, poison ivy, sumac and similar plants.

StaphWash contains a cleanser for use on skin that is specifically formulated to remove MRSA and staph bacteria.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use the product in this bottle on only ONE skin location.  Use this product as a cleanser by gently rubbing one or two drops on skin with a clean Q-tip. Repeat process every 4 hours for the first 24 hours.  For the next 6 days, repeat the cleansing process after each shower and 3 times per day.  This bottle contains 3 mL (60 drops) -- more than enough to treat one skin location for 7 days. 

MECHANISMS OF ACTION: (1) Contains a skin cleanser. (2) Contains chlorine and other oxidizing agents for bacteria control. (3) Contains an anti-bacterial surfactant to wash away dirt and oil films which can harbor bacteria. (4) Formulated to slightly dry the skin.
